Bernie O'Hallaren Scammer and Fraud

If you are searching this name: Bernie O'hallaren III or Bernard J. O'hallaren, then you probably have realized something is not right by now. I feel it is my responsibility to write a blog to inform those of us seeking the truth, about this guy who goes by Bernie O'hallaren--he will scam you. Do not give him any money, do NOT give him your place to stay, do NOT help a man who will cheat you and take advantage of your helping hand.

This man is traveling in Orlando Florida as of November 19, 2009 in a newer Lexus vehicle model.

He has a pregnant female with him as well (appears to be more than six months pregnant). She goes by the name of Susanna O'hallaren (susanna.ohallaren@gmail.com). She stated she is originally from Costa Rica and that she was previously married to a cuban gentleman. Both Bernie and Susanna (or Susie) use a cell phone with a 305 area code, which happens to be a Miami area code (not sure if significant but I want people aware nonetheless).

They are going from place to place, business to business, getting a stay in rental homes for example, by selling a story that he had to move at the last minute for a new job in communications with Disney World and that he can have the money deposited from his business, Ohallaren Enterprises, the following morning, to pay for his stay as it would be a business expense. He claims to use a call-bank for his business line called Metropolitan Communications and he attempts to give you advice on what you should do to help improve business --but when I search for the business name I find nothing useful under Ohallaren Ent.

He specifically scheduled to rent a home for a period of two months with me. He stated the money would be deposited from Ohallaren Enterprises the next morning. He mentioned that a gentleman by the name of Keith Lucks would call to get our bank information in order to do the deposit. You should be searching Keith Lucks as well and see the scams being posted under this name as well. Bernie will talk to you like he's your best customer. Very nice and friendly, speaks about his wife being pregnant and how they are excited for the baby. Normal conversations that us folks with a heart have with friends, neighbors, etc. He obviously has a serious issue involving reality.

The money doesn't get deposited and he simply tries to use his good guy charm to say there must be a misunderstanding and to give him another day or two in order to get those taken care of right away. He has no intention of getting the matter cleared as he has nothing to his name. The credit card he uses will not even approve for a minimal transaction, so do not authorize the transaction--CHARGE it, and you will get a declination. Do not take a credit card from him, nor should you take a check as it will not be any good to you.

I came across a website with detailed information on Bernard Ohallaren III and his past experiences with the law. Check out the court case from Illinois (Which he does claim he is from Chicago Illinois and he provides an address from Chicago as well when making a reservation). Just Google USA Vs. Ohallaren Bernard. You'll find all the info on his conviction on the Docstoc website ...and he was suppose to spend 28 months in Federal Prison...amongst numerous other problems.

I called the police but they could not help me as they couldn't let me know if he had a warrant--if I would have had the information from the two websites above, I would have pushed the issue more with the law. You try for help but there is not much to be done--I encourage you to not take that as an answer. Notify police.

Stay away from this gentleman. Call the police as they'd probably like to ask him why he hasn't showed for his regular check-in with the probation officer. Good luck with your screwed up endeavors Bernie and remember liars & cheats never prosper.
